Arrived on Wednesday in Munich and took the Lufthanse shuttle to the Marriott. Thursday morning took the U-bahn 3 stops north and walked to the delivery center. Handed them my passport and about an hour later they told me my new ride was ready! Bernard congratulated me with taking delivery of the first 530xiT!!! All i can say is "wow"... i drives fantastic!!! Keep it most of the time around 125mph to keep the RPM's under 4500, but i had to check if it's really limited at 152mph (yep, it's is). Even on that speed the car handles awesome!!! Couple notes:

i-drive: loving it!! Took me a day or so to get use to it, but once you know some of the tricks it works fantatic.

stereo: i did not upgraded to the Logic7, but the standard stereo sounds great! Far better than the Harmon Kardon in the 3-series i had.

panorama-roof: amazing! If it's was a bit bigger the car would have been labeled as a convertible. Unfortunaly i had only 1 nice day i could drive with it open....

PDC: would not park in Europe without it. It's very cool to see a visual picture of the car with the obstacles.

I dropped the car of in Amsterdam and Wanda took care of the paperwork.

Just an FYI, the drop off spot is still a 30 minutes taxi ride away from the airport (and does not accept credit cards, so make sure you keep ~ 50 euro's for a cab with you!)

Now the wait has started.....
