 Sirius Leader ETA??

There have been a few posts about the Sirius Leader in the last day or two, indicating arrival at Port Hueneme on 6/26 or 6/27. My notification letter says that the boat is expected at Port Hueneme on 6/29.

Does anybody have definitive information on this?

Also, is there any way to confirm arrival? (This may be a pointless question as I suspect someone will post on this site as soon as the ship is pulls into port, along with photos, a video, and the probability schedule of various timeframes for our cars arriving at the VDC and to our dealers. )

Thanks.

Are you lookin' at ME?

There are LOTS of ways. Check your PM.

I would say there is a 90% probablility that your car will be unloaded by the close of business on Monday, 6/27. Normally I would estimate that your dealer would have your car around 7/9, but because of Independence Day and the unknown damage, my estimate is 7/16. There is no data supporting this one week delay estimate, just the sense that minor repair and painting should take no more than a week.

Attention AZBob: Because of your added distance from Pt H and because of Independence Day, my guess is that your car may be at your dealer about Wednesday July 13. Again remember that this estimate is based on only three deliveries made to SoCal (average: just under 12 days) and the probablilty of the car arriving then or later is >50%, especially if there is damage.

John,

Could you please provide me with the standard deviations for your numbers? (Just Kidding)....Statistics - the nadir of my collegiate experience.

Thanks for the info.

Thanks. If I could spell "probability" I would really be something!

It looks like we've received letters stating Sirius Leader's arrival could be anywhere from today (mine) to 6/29 (fishskis). The only thing I can confirm as fact is Sirius Leader left Bremmerhaven one day behind schedule and passed through the Panama Canal last Sunday. Who knows how much time it has made up enroute or if that even matters. Port Hueneme may operate on a slotted schedule. At any rate, sometime in the next 36-48 hours our cars should be on American soil. If anybody lives near Port Hueneme and sees Sirius Leader in port, please post a notification.
