I am quite sure that this thread exists somewhere on this board, but I can't seem to find it anywhere. I am looking for an ED 101 course. The BMW USA website has very superficial descriptions of the ED program. If someone could please point me to the right thread, I would greatly appreciate the assistance. Looking for basics like; does my dealer (Dreyer & Reinbold, Carmel, IN) have to allow, what incentive / disincentive do they have to allow ED. I'm very comfortable with what I need to do post-ordering based on all the threads I've read so far, so I'm looking for a description of the very start of the process - THANKS MUCH! |

You can do ED with any dealer in the US. The one closest to your home or the one on the other side of the country. There's a list here of dealers experienced in ED that the festers did ED with themselves. You could simply walk into your local dealer and inquire about ED program. If they have no idea about it or try to divert you from it and sell you a floor model - you should probably look elswhere.

Go to your dealer and negotiate a deal for ED. Use this forum and it's 'search' feature for everything else you need. I'm pretty sure the www.bmwusa.com website gives you all the information you need to get started. Did you really look at all it's content?
In fact, I know it does. try this... http://www.bmwusa.com/bmwexperience/EuropeanDelivery/

Great! Thanks guys. I just didn't know if there was anything else to it.
I have already completed my research and calculations. I am targeting $1,800 over ED invoice. Is that too aggressive or not? Going to order an '05 545.
Thanks!

Thanks! | I think you can do a little bit better. Start with 1k and go up from there. Also, check out the master list of dealers that like to do ED. There might be one near your.
