 Electric outlets and power supply in Germany?



This will be my first ED and am very excited. But never been to Germany and was wondering what kind of electric outlets and power do the Germans use??

They use 220 and have a different plug system.

Check your equipment. It may need only the plug adapter and not a transformer. For example, the charger for my digital camera needed only the plug adapter, because it was 110-220V charger. It's worth figuring out to save the $25 price difference between the two.

Of course, make very sure before plugging in.

Most laptop computer and digital camera charger comes w/ a trnsformer, in which case all you need is a plug converter. However, if you are using your electric razor or hair dryer, be sure to get a power transformer.

Just get a full kit...it'll work for many years to come because you will find Europe so intoxicating.
