For those of you planning hotels for your ED.. try to see to it that they having indoor parking. This resolves three things: 1.) Theft. Can't steal what you can't readily see. 2.) Weather. Keep them shiny new cars all sparkly. 3.) Idiot parkers. I was amazed at how badly cars were parked, especially in Spain. Here's an example of two parked cars (this was a common sight): Cars parked through each other, and not just tapping either.... |

I think the only place people here parked on the street during ED is Munich, where BMW's are common place. Heck I saw a Ferrari 550 parked on curb there. Once into other countries, I looked for secure garages, espeically in Italy.

That is very common in Spain, you'll also notice the cars are pretty banged up everywhere and pretty dirty. Even the nice ones.

How about Vienna? Should I pay 17 Euro per day for parking at the hotel (Renaissance Wien) or it's safe to keep it outside?

Quote: For those of you planning hotels for your ED.. try to see to it that they having indoor parking. | That was key issue in my selecting hotels when I was doing ED. I only looked at hotels that had off-street parking. The picture you posted could also be of how cars were parked in Florence. I have yet to figure out how people were able to get their cars out. Maybe they just slide them out.
