When you pay the dealer $1000 or $1500 over ED invoice is that included in the capitalized cost of a lease, or is it paid out of pocket at signing? Also same question for acquisition fee
I was wondering is it possible to order through ED at one dealer, and take shipment at another dealer?

I was wondering is it possible to order through ED at one dealer, and take shipment at another dealer? | Its up to you if you want it as part of the cap cost or if you want to pay it at the beginning. There's really no reason you want to pay it up front. Same with Acq fee.
As for delivery, its called courtesy delivery and usually cost about 500 and it has to be set up by your original dealer. Some don't like to do it and if they do, don't expect anything.

My out of pocket was the first lease payment ($569) and the CA lic fees and about $60 in misc. fees. Total $930. The lease acq. fee was added to the negotiated price of the car.

Marcus330i, How did you manage to get such a low monthly lease payment? I am about to talk to my dealer about leasing options with my car already on ED order...

Well....not by magic.
It's XXXX over invoice (very good deal)
.0029 MF
3 yr/30K miles (I might regret this part...but I have a truck I can drive to keep miles low on car)
62% resid
$529 plus tax is $569
Dealer only marked up the MF .0001 (plus .0003 for ED)
I ran the numbers using this link (below) and caught a dealer mistake that lowered my payment over $50/month...they miscalculated the residual.

how is .0029 related to lease ? i see these numbers .... but doesnt make sense to me!
