this is going to sound weird, but can you tell me the names of people who help you with paperwork and getting your car ready in the ED center in munich? i know there are to berhnards - but how about other names?
how would you rate each one of them on "flexibility" of convicing them to avoid drilling the holes in the bumper (two top screws should be enough to hold the plate in place).
you can email me jkoum@yahoo.com if you want to keep responces private.
i am also planning on buying a european size license plate holder and use that one instead of the USA sized one which comes with the car.

That's perfect Yan, buy the Euro plate holder, and screw it into the same holes you are about to receive. That's exactly what I'm doing. Enjoy.

note the difference:

i wanted to buy euro plate holder to bring it with me into the ED delivery center and convince them to use it instead of USA one (thus avoiding need for more holes)

I'll bet however much, that if you had holes in that bumper, and no plate, it would not show whatsoever in those pictures. The holes are only visible from within 4 feet or so.
I took off my plate holder Friday, and I have two small holes, just the size of the small screw threads right in the seam of the bumper. I'd rather not have them, but you are making a huge deal out of it I say, accept it and move on. Plus you already said, you'd just buy another bumper cover with the 5k you are saving on the ED.
