Just got my ED package and my scheduled delivery date is 17th of June. This is due to mis-communication between me and my dealer.
The big question is - can i still change the date to 20th of June? I can't change my tickets anyway and with delivery date change i'll also get a few extra insurance days.

I can't imagine why not...but have your dealer transmit that info to the ED dept. ASAP. Since you've already paid/sign your documents it will probably be fine. I've read over and over in these forums that delaying the pickup is generally OK.

Of course they may accomodate the actual pickup on the 20th, but the registration/insurance will probably start the 17th and end 2 weeks later. Let us know what happens.

I had the exact same problem...dealer communcated the incorrect drop off date.
Do not wait to get it in Munich you will be too late. I spoke directly to the Euro Delivery Manager in NJ last week and she confirms that registrations and insurance is obtained 1 week before stated pickup date. You need to contact your SA immediately and get them to add the incremental dates otherwise you will be driving around without valid insurance and registration....I can't think of a worse way to end an ED than with an uninsured accident in Europe.

Let us know what happens. | Well the key is to find out if they re-write the pickup docs when you show up if you come later. I can email Bernhard and ask him. I'm sure with flight delays etc people show up a day late all the time. I'll see what Bernhard says.
