Yes I really do.
I often use the folding mirrors function in parking lots, just in case someone is just ridiculously close.

I am a terribly picky parker - I will walk across an entire lot rather than park in a cramped spot near my destination. I also take any opportunity to line up my mirror such that a neighboring car door will hit it, rather than the body.
