issue with manual transmission while doing ED

I'm in salzburg right now and am really enjoying the car. However, when I go out of third
gear there is a popping sound. Has anyone had this? The shifting itself is normal but the sound is annoying and quite odd.

Should I be dealing with this while in europe or will the US dealer handle it?

Thank you in advance for any feedback.

Of course the dealer in the US will handle it if you want to wait. It's up to you if it is of so much concern that you need to bring it to a dealer in Europe. Your warranty is honored in Europe (maintenance is not).

I wonder if this is a good reason to pickup the car early in the day and even early in the week in case there's a problem....maybe they can address it before you start road tripping.

I would not bother factoring that into my own equation... things go wrong with cars at anytime, yet they are mostly reliable. To be honest that would be over anal to me. But if you are expecting trouble... go for it? Oh... there is always the next day, or Monday...
