My VIN on owner's circle does not match the VIN/chassis # on all my paperwork from my Munich dropoff. I never noticed until my credit union contacted me saying that they could not verify the car's VIN and needed documentation to justify my loan.

Is this common? Do you think BMW swapped my original car with the owner's circle VIN with my pickup car? Is owner's circle that incredibly unreliable? I called and left a message with my dealer to see if he could explain the discrepency.
