I'm going BATTY waiting on the Grus to arrive at Port Hueneme, CA. Can't find it on the shipping links anymore, been checking all week.
So close, but no Bimmer is making me CRAZY! It has been 2 weeks since I drove a Bimmer and I'm losing it!!! This time between cars is pure hell.

I guess the guys who have their loved ones on the Grus are really impatient.
We all know how tough this wait is for us. Hope you get your car once the ship has docked.

So... Once the ship has docked, what is the average wait before it makes it to the dealer?

Lately it has been about 5 days through customs clearance to VDC release to carrier and 5-10 days for Wagonners to get the car loaded onto a truck and delivered to the dealer.
I think the Grus is docking today.

This wait is killllling me! I'm dreaming about this frickin car every night! There is some consolation in knowing that others are suffering along with me! Thanks to all.

I think the Grus is docking today. | I had two arrival dates a couple of weeks ago, 5/17 and 5/19, so I was assuming today too. I hope it's not 5 days at VPC and 5 more for trucking, but from what I've seen recently about shipping port overcrowding (read an artical in Business Week last week) it could very well be this long.
Too long of a wait from 2/25 until now. No matter how many times I do this order/wait thing, it never gets any easier.
