problemitis
i guess seeing all these posts about problems, m36m3er, and others. my question is:since i am dropping off in florence with a driver, if there is some damage to the car where does it get addressed. in munich prior to being shipped back? or when it gets back here. and, who would i call if something did happen that needed addressing? | | Reply » problemitis | You'll get the insurance papers in the packet with the car. You sign them, etc at time of picking up. Roadside assistance #'s are in there as well as for the insurance company. Scratches and bumps, etc will typically be addressed here when the car is returned. It was just unusualy for my car to be sent to the Munich factory for repair, but as I was told, they are the best BMW techs in the world, so I couldn't pass that up.
NO WORRIES. it's all very good and easy. As has been said, BMW really has thier act together on this.

| | Reply » problemitis | Everything went very smoothly with my drop-off and subsequent return. No damage that I could find, no scratches, no nothing. Well, just a slightly unhelpful courtesy delivery dealer and a slight learning curve at the DMV but overall, everything was fine.
