  NAV DVD Version?

 NAV DVD Version?



I picked up my car with 2004-2 inserted. I know arnolds got 2005-2 in his car.

As some of you know, my car had a courtesy delivery done on it (bought the car from an Oregon dealer, had a CD done to a California dealer).

Well, my CD dealer seemed to lack motivation as he had trouble turning my DRLs (daytime running lights) on for me (initially asked for $70 fee! ) however he did clean the car for me and filled up the gas tank.

My call to him about the old NAV DVD went something like this: "It came that way...I still get cars with that disk inserted." I have my own thoughts but no proof so I'll say no more!

Anyway, what is everyone else getting?

Mine did not come with any so as soon as I get one mailed to me from my dealer I'll let you know. I was told that the VDC was supposed to install it when the car came in. We'll see what version I get.

What's new?

I just made a pleading call to Nav-tech...no dice there. She was happy to sell me one but she said she can't give me one at no-cost nor do an exchange.

She did confirm that since March, 2005, 2005-2 is the most current DVD-based NAV disk and what they are supplying BMW.

I got the 2005-2 with mine. Picked up yesterday...but you didn't get the extra bonus of cigarette butts in your ash tray...lucky you
