You can watch the ship on the canal webcam. I watched the Jupiter Diamond go through last year. My friends thought I was a little OCD.

Got it! Grus is in the Pacific, full steam ahead, next stop Port Hueneme, should be there next Thursday or Friday. Caught about 60 time-lapse framse of the Grus going thru the Miraflores lock in the Panama Canal... way cool, can see the ships going up and down, and the locks opening and closing... Grus hauls arse... right thru there, very cool. I may be able to compile the bmp's into a movie and can post it if anyone want to see...
Here's a good picture of the Grus, heading right thru the frame in Lane two of the Miraflores Lock.
