Can my car be picked up in Munich by my uncle who lives there? I'll notarize papers by which I make him my agent. Then all he has to do is drive the car to nearest drop-off center (by the way - which one is closest to Munich?).
Is this something that can be done?

No way Jose' They actually won't process your ED order without getting your passport verified. Showing up in person is one of the pillars of European Delivery. Next thing you'd see uncles, aunts, distant cousins picking up the ED cars....buyers would be doing it to get the great price without the hassle of the trip. The dealers here in the US would be left with a lot of unsold inventory on their lots.

I bet your uncle could probably drop the car off. I dropped off my parent's car after taking them to the airport, even though my name was nowhere in the paperwork. I even signed off under my own name.
