ok...leaving in less than two weeks (may 19 pick up!).....
i'm going to be dropping off in Nice, France. Does anyone know of a car wash in the area? i want to be able to give my car a quick wash...i don't want my brand new car to sit diryt for a month+....

Take my word for it, you are better off not washing the car than to have someone w/ half ass cloth to scratch-up your clear coat and paint.

-wajih | I dropped off in Nice 3/28/05 but did not bother washing the car. The guy did wash my license plate and I am sure if I had more time he would have let me wash ithe car also. Maybe. I would worry more about the bumper to bumper traffic in Nice than about the dirty car. The traffic should be worse in summer. Make sure you visit St. Paul de Vence which is about 30minutes away.

-wajih | I had the same concerns when dropping off my Black E60 in February (covered with salt spray and sand). I found a car wash a couple blocks from the Drop off center. I sat there face to face with the car washing machine..... imagining those brushes rubbing the sand particles all over my brand new black paint. 
I opted to ship it dirty......... I worried a little about the salt being on the paint for 6-8 weeks......... but upon redelivery (of an even dirtier car)....... and a careful hand washing (by yours truly).... the car is fine! Relax and enjoy Europe... it will soon be a distant memory.
