if you buy a car through a dealer say in oregon, can you have the car courtesy dropped at a dealership say in massachusetts? i know it is the receiving dealerships option as to whether they take it or not. but is courtesey delivery a regional thing, ie west coast dealers among each other?

Yes, its a dealer to dealer deal. and not restricted to regions. This should be a question you ask your purchasing dealer.

yeah...it's def. dealer to dealer deal....i'm buying from a dealer in MD (Joern @ passport) and having the car shipped to Houston....it's costing me $500....that money goes to the TX dealer to have him pay to recieve the car....
