My local dealership has the Alpina B7 on the floor

I didn't know they were made already much less here Stateside. I actually sat in it as it was open. Holy **** $124,000!!! You know it's special when the rear deck has wood trim It's probably more impressive when being driven. I don't know though. Being a BMW afficionado I can appreciate what the car is all about but to the regular Joe schmo it looks like any run of the mill 7er. IF i had that kind of dough, I wonder if I'm better off getting a Quattroporte instead

Maserati? Jay, you going soft on us? I'd take the B7 any day! I had hoped to see one soon, but I didn't really realize that they were on showroom floors.

Good find!

Sup bro? When are you getting the ride back? I hope soon enough. The wait must be killing you, lol. Haha yeah, I kinda like the Maz. Not saying the B7 is bad. I just admire other cars as well. I don't discriminate
I dropped off the E46 yesterday and that's why I was at the dealership. I'll take pics the when I pick the car up.

I saw one being detailed for the new buyer when I brought my rattlebox in for its 1200 miles service. It had a huge Alpina scoop on the front fender which I didn't think went with the car, and a larger rear end, which exaggerated the 7ers most awkward feature. The wheels were a little busy, with Alpina centers. The interior looked nice, but like any other 7er. I didn't see the engine compartment, but I suspect it has the puny 4.4L engine under the blower.

Overall I didn't really like it. But I'm sure it will drive like a BMW, which means much better than the wheeled refrigerators sold by Daimler-Chrysler.

2 pics I got a better look at the car today and I'll still take a Maz over this one. This car is nice, the Maz is just nicer . The other fellow in the showroom agreed.
