BMW OC just verified my car is done!!! I got a VIN numer (the bank will be happy). I've PM'ed a few of the 5/2'ers, but this will be open to anyone else in the area, i.e. 5/3, 5/4, etc.
Shall we meet? hang out? Add your plans to the list, and we can all coordinate.

Would love to but......'fraid this is gonna be a 'in and out' on Monday. I fly in from Cologne first think Monday morning, pick-up/drop-off (with maybe 1 quick jaunt on the Autobahn  ), than back to the airport for a 3 o'clock flight back to D.C. Maybe we can/will meet for breakfast/coffee at the Delivery Center. I should be their about 9:30 or so I'm guessing.

We get in late afternoon on 5/1. I do not yet know whether we will be staying at LM, but it is a good possibility. We should be available for a jet-lagged get-together of some sort on Sunday night and I am confident that I will be around the DC by 9:30. Actually I hope to be done by about then, but it will depend on how the jet-lag affects our sleep. We plan to depart for parts unknown after finishing up at the DC unless our plans change.

How do we recogonize each other? Everyone will have a huge smile on their face  , so that gets ruled out. Maybe a secret handshake or some hand/body signals like in baseball?

OnOn | Wow, too bad you can't stay longer. Driving a BMW in its birthplace on the Autobahn is the schlitz!!  Also, Europe is so freakin' cool....
