I apologize for double post (put this in "general BMW" by mistake)
New to forum.. I would appreciate any info regarding:
1. Source(s) of info regarding safe parking for overnight stops. 2. Can a borrowed/rented Navteq CD be used in new BMW or does it "register" for only one vehicle when used? [I have a Garmin "nRoute" program that does that.]
Thanks

Now onto your question 2. So long its the right disk (BMW DVD Profesionnal for E60, E63, E90; BMW DVD high, or BMW CD RoadMap for E65, X3, E46) It will work.

Kind of hard to give you info on parking when we don't know where you are going. But in general, unless you are going to Eastern Europe...parking is pretty safe in Germany.
