Anybody ever try removing both ED plates? I know you are only supposed to take one off but if you removed both before you are on Harms property and gave them the car like that what could they do? Refuse to ship it?

I wouldn't remove any plates until the car is parked at Harms. Once there, I am not sure you need to. Has anyone lost an export plate they left on the car or had one damaged?

Has anyone lost an export plate they left on the car or had one damaged? | Harms would only remove the front plate.My dealer said they are recieving ED cars with the back plate still on the car.I'll let you know how true this is when I pick up the car at the dealers in about a month or so.

Refuse to ship it? | I drove on to the Harms parking lot, removed both plates, went inside and did the paperwork, and then off to the airport. No problem. This was from Munich in Oct 2003.

I left both on this time ... we'll see what happens.

I took the front with me. The rear was still in place upon re-delivery.
