Car is scheduled to leave Antwerp

I see most postings show that cars are leaving the Bremerhaven port... I just got an e-mail from Harms that my car is leaving from Antwerp on April 19th to Port Hueneme.... on MS Grus - (I had dropped the car off in Paris). I am not having any luck looking up the ship. So, I am wondering if anyone has any experiences in having their car shipped from Antwerp - and if there is a way to track it.... I am sure it's too early to try tracking it on Wallenius site (to see if this shipping company is going to be used or if it is NYK)

I've e-mailed Harms to find out... and will post their response later....

Let me know.

Thanks,

Ray

Looks like Grus will make a stop on Bremerhaven after picking up your car. Due to arrive to Port Hueneme on 5/17/2005

Wooh, hoo!! Hey Ray, you got company!

Looks like I'm on MS Grus also! So I'm back on track here. I'm quite pleased with my 05/17/2005 eta. That is one day shy of two months from my pickup, and I drove the car for 14 FULL days. (Not dropping it off until after hours the day it was due, and having to do the paperwork the next day).

Plus, they pulled the car for 10 days bringing it back to BMW Munich for a brand new perfect windshield and a factory re-painting of the hood.

So Gerling dropped the car back at Harms on Tuesday and Berhends said the car was trucked to Bremmerhaven on Weds, and is scheduled to leave port on the Grus on Thursday the 21st with eta to Port Hueneme on 05/17. That seems like a quick voyage... must be going directly there, ie: not stopping on the east cost. My last ED took 8 weeks from drop-off to PH. So, this is 1/2 the time.

EXCELLENT!!

Hey Ray, are you sure your car was in Antwerp. Seems quite quick to go from Antwerp on the 19th then load cars in Bremmerhaven for departure there on the 21st. What day did you drop off in Paris?

Ain't she a beauty!

Hey Gene,

Is that your red car upside down on top of the ship.

She really is a beauty.
