I bought a car yesterday; and I couldn't have done it without you.
(Though I must admit, it was a bit odd "buying" a car, and walking out of the dealership with nothing).
BTW, I ended up with an even (slightly) better deal than we first discussed; the numbers are incredible, as you know, and I think they charged me cost on the options instead of retail. In any event, no regrets about not waiting for the 550. I'll just do another ED in 2 or 3 years; now I just have to figure out how to get a deal on an ED M5.
Leaving at the end of next week for my (at least) two week adventure.

It is hard to imagine going through this process without the benefit of this forum. | It's not the official Beewang is da man thread...but heck he deserves at least a couple. He's definitely been a huge help to me through the whole process as I know he has been for countless others. This forum is also the greatest thing on the planet when buying a new BMW and (especially) when doing European Delivery.
I just did my paperwork yesterday for my 330i I'll be picking up May 9th. You're right it was a really weird feeling walking out of the dealership with a piece of paper instead of keys and a new car but I'm sure it will be worth it when I take delivery in a couple weeks.

I agree with you both. If you think the deal is sweet then wait until you actually do the trip itself. It is the best expecience you can imagine. Having been to Munich several times, this time was even better with my new wheels. Only 35months till I get to do it again.
