 Just an FYI, I had secured a reservation with Le Meridien's website for $179 Euro all up ($230 US) about 3 weeks ago and checked periodically for changes yet found none. Taking Arnold's advice, I read through biddingfortravel.com , got a benchmark price and went over to Priceline. I started the bid at $100 US, was told to bump by $22, actually bumped by $23 for good measure and my $123 US was accepted with an all up price of $151.30 US including taxes. May 23-24. later |

You're lucky... I went all the way up to $200 for my January trip and still got nothing!

Just went to priceline. Bid $100 --> rejected. Priceline asked for $122. Reading biddingfortravel.com, I thought you could bid less then priceline's counteroffer. However, they only accepted $22 which I did --> Accepted!!! I added the $5 insurance in case I have to cancel.
All-in-all, $452 USD for 3 nights as opposed to $475 Euros (over $600 USD) Meridien's homepage.
Bimmerfest is the absolute best in planning an ED!!!
