I just signed my P.O. and I have a May 2nd pickup date. My car was built this past week.
I am considering heading over to Europe a few days earlier if I can change my air reservations (which has so far not been easy).
Does anybody know if changing the pickup date at this point, just a few weeks before pickup, is possible? Is it an easy thing to move the date a couple of days or is the date etched in stone. For some reason, I recall hearing that the dates are very firm, and BMW does not like to change them.

Thanks. | Call your salesman. It may be possible, or it may not. It depends on the openings/appointments that are available. I would imagine that there's a bit more flexibility outside of vacation season.

Yep, call your client advisor ASAP. It becomes harder to change once all the registration for the Temp plates are processed. Also, keep in mind, that there are other activities at the Delivery Center besides the US only Euro Delivery Program that can affect scheduling.

I had changed my pick up date without a problem one and half months before the pick up date without a problem. The car was then scheduled for production. The tags are done a few days/maybe a week before pick up date. I changed mine by directly speaking to BMWNA.
I was told the biggest problem in changing the dates is the availability of slots for that particular date.
