Are pick-up and drop-off locations closed on weekends?

I read on this forum information that somebody might have been able to drop off his car on Sunday . From the bmwusa.com it looks like the Munich delivery center and all drop off locations are closed on weekends. Is that not the case?

If you call ahead to the office you plan to drop off at, you can likely arrange to drop off the car on a Sunday. Do call, however, as it is up to the particular office rather than BMW NA. The dropoff office will also need to tell you what you have to do and when.

It is possible. I dropped off on Easter Sunday in Munich. I had two options.

1. Visit the EHH office prior to Sunday, Hand them one of the keys and sign a couple pieces of paperwork, schedule a taxi pickup for sunday and then leave car on the parking lot on Sunday.

2. Somebody can be at the EHH office on Sunday for a fee of 75 euros.

This is from the Munich Office.

The Frankfurt office also offered option #2 for Easter Sunday. I opted for a Munich drop off, option #1.

Here's what the parking lot looked like on March 27, 2005, around 7:15 am.
