Priceline and 4 star Munich hotels

Realizing how much certain regular posters have views on repetitive questions, I'll chance a variation.

If I bid on PriceLine using the star rating guide, what would likely come up under 4 Star? (please don't say the Marriott or Renaissance)

thanks

That is exactly what you'll get, but the Marriott was not bad. The breakfast is a ripoff at 20euros/head. The area is not very central but if you have Nav. you'll find it very easily. If you want another Hotel in Munchen try the Urhland as others have recommended. Use 4 start and city center north for the Marriott or Renaissance.

I'm at the Marriott as I type, very nice really. Yes American style, not sure that's a bad thing, and this is my 9th longish trip to Europe. Breakfast is fantastic, but indeed a rip off for 19 Euros. Leaving for home tomorrow. Two nights at $62.00 a night... I can afford breakfast, and it's cheaper than any other lesser room I had over the last almost 3 weeks.

American style is good. We stayed at a Hotel Ibis in Nurnberg last week and the damn pillows were about a third larger than the pillows on the plane. But for 60 euros, I guess it wasn't bad.
