When will I be able to see the invoice?
Hello, Using info found in this forum, I contaced an ED-friendly dealer in the area, and he agreed to get me an '06 530i for X dollars over invoice. I told him what packages and options I want, and he came back with a price, plus the additional X dollars. I found '06 E60 wholesale pricing info on another site, and I can't get those numbers to add up to what he claims is the invoice price. The car is slated for delivery on 6/24, so it hasn't entered production yet, and I haven't signed anything or paid any money. I learned long ago never to trust a car salesman, so when do I ask him to back up his numbers? I've started making vacation plans, and I don't want to cancel the whole deal because he tried to sneak in some extra profit. thanks, Greg p.s. Sorry for not posting numbers, but I've seen how Beewang yells at people for that | | Reply » When will I be able to see the invoice? | Ask him now for the complete breakdown of his pricing, then compare to what you think it is. Then tell him.

The deal has been negotiated over phone and email, so I haven't seen any actual paperwork yet.
Maybe I'll send him a link to the '06 wholesale pricing so he knows to keep things honest
thanks, Greg

If you cannot trust the sales person-don't do business there. There are other dealers in the Bay Area you can go to. Quote: Hello,
