Before I start my rant, let me preface with that I've been a lurker here for a few months. I've gained a wealth of knowledge. I want to thank everyone. I also want to give kudo's to adrian's bmw. With his help, I will be doing a European Delivery for a '05 545 SMG on April 7th.
Specs for the car: Titanium Gray Metallic, Black Leather, Anthracite Trim, SMG, Sports pkg, Premium Sound pkg, NAV, and sat prep.
Unfortunately, I missed the Fly Free program so all I got was the 2-for-1 with Lufthansa. Earlier this week I made arrangements with Lufthansa for my father and I to fly to Munich. The best rate available was $1003 for one passenger and the second passenger only pays the tax. All together the total price = ~$1130. This was what I expected to pay.

Today I checked my online banking statement. Found out that Lufthansa charged me $2006! I immediately call them and told them that there was a mistake. So, their response was to fax to their refund department a copy of my check card(VISA) and a explanation(justification) why I should be refunded $1003?
Lufthsansa is putting the onus on me to correct their mistake? They will not refund me the amount without the fax. I was told (3x by three different people) that the refund department does not have a phone number. That was a lie. A coworker helped out and found the number but was then told that they NEVER pick up the phone.
I called my bank and opened a dispute ticket. My bank will now take it up with Lufthansa and my bank will refund the $1003 to my account in 10 days. I will be sending Lufthsana a letter about my displeasure with their customer service and refund department.
