Hey,
I have driven SUV's ever since I was 16 and I am ready to get a car. I have always loved BMW so I have decided to get one. The dillema is down to a 2003 540i with under 30K miles and 2005 330ci with under 10K miles. What would yall go with? Thanks for you help.

Definitely '05. The 540 is a great car, but it's not very sporty, and the V8 is too quiet. Plus will be very expensive to own after 2 more years.

The 5 is a great car, but unless you really need to cater to backseat passengers (extra doors, extra legroom), get the 3. It's more nimble, and the 3-series really is the "soul" of BMW.

Significant differences in the cars.
How many people will ride in the car most of the time, and are you planning to take road trips. This will help you answer your question.
Both are nice cars.
