Day Trip Parking
After Munich, I'll be staying 30 miles South of Salzburg for a week in St. Johann, Austria. This seems to be fairly centrally to Salzburg, Innsbruck, Vienna, and maybe even Venice/Milan.
I'm wondering if there is good parking garages in these cities and other European cities for day trips?

Salzburg has a pair of very large garages under the mountains near the old town, so you should have no problems parking there, although getting to the entrance is not exactly obvious.
The others I can't comment on -- my hotel supplied parking in an underground garage in Innsbruck, and my hotel in Vienna had it's own underground parking as well.
Not sure how Vienna qualifies as a day trip from anywhere near Salzburg, however. You really couldn't do it justice as a day trip. Innsbruck, possibly.

We basically just instructed the Nav to go to the city center and just found parking in and around the area. Some were indoor, some were outdoor.
