Renaissance Munich Hotel THEODOR DOMBART STRASSE 4 Munich, DE
Four Points by Sheraton Olympiapark Downtown Munich HELENE MAYER RING 12 Munich | The Munich Marriott which is right by the Renaissance and is also a Marriott chain Hotel offers a shuttle from the Hotel to the airport but not from the airport to the Hotel. This was confirmed by the Hotel a few days ago that I called. You can take a Lufthansa shuttle to near the Hotel for 9euros. Hope this helps. Yam

Yam | The Marriot and Rennaisance are not just close, they are side by side. (The Rennaisance is slightly closer to the U-bahn station if that matters to you). They do have a shuttle to the airport (Marriot that is), but it only leaves once per hour, so you have to time your trip just right. They are very helpful at the front desk and speak fluent English. You can also buy your U-bahn tickets at the front desk.

The Marriott is great. It is a very short walk (about two blocks) from the u-bahn. The airport isn't very close to town, so most hotels with shuttles are likely to be in Freising.
You can get yourself rooms pretty inexpensively on Priceline. Many people get rates of anywhere from $50 - $65.
