Taxi from downtown Munich to Delvery Center??

I am staying at Le Meridien for my ED in April. I understand it is located right next to the main station in the heart of Munich.

It seems that everyone here just hops on the train to the delivery center, but I will be traveling with some luggage and may choose to take a taxi.

How much does a taxi cost to the delivery center, and approximately how long will it take around 8 or 9 am? From the map I have looked at, it looks fairly close, so I am assuming it is a quick, inexpensive trip. Or is the train just easier/cheaper/ and faster?

While I'm on the subject, how long and how costly is the taxi from the airport?

Thanks for the help.

I took a taxi from Harms to Le Meridien and that was about 20-25 euro. That should give you a rough idea. The central train station is directly across from Le Meridien, and its very easy to make your way by train to the ED center. You'll have to walk maybe a couple of hundred yards with your luggage from the Freiman station to the ED Center if you take the train. Good luck.

Fish......

Don't take the taxi from the airport to your hotel... take the Lufthansa shuttle. I did it last week and it was only 19 euros total for 2 of us.

Be aware though......... they don't take a credit card or American money.

There is an ATM machine between baggage claim and the shuttle. The Blue Bus (shuttle) is just outside baggage claim.

Have a great time and drink a dunkle for me!
