I had an allocation and date of May 3rd. reserved for an E90 but when I heard that the 2006 530i was going to be available with the new R6 Engine I asked my dealer to check with ED to see if I could change to that car and get the same pickup date. It was approved. In the end my wife and I decided, after having a 3,5, and 7 in the past, that the E90 was going to be a little too small for our needs.

Since you guys are requesting dates, there should be no reason that my dealer can't do the same thing. I'll get on their case. Will there be August pickup, or does BMW shutdown for the big euro holiday? I'll shoot for July if I can get a slot...
