Some friends and I were talking about my ED experiences. I was wondering if anyone knows roughly how many European Deliverys for U.S. buyers BMW does per year? I can't seem to find any numbers on it. Also, I wonder what the break down would be by car model.

I seem to recall seing some posts here, with dates for ED, that suggested they go through 10000 plates in 3-4 years, so 2800 would be in the ballpark. (Of course, perhaps those plates are also used for something else, or for other car makers).
If anyone cares to track this way:
M 1288 Z -- August 2003
