 ED Lease questions

Hi to all

I am new to this forum. I had a 99' 328 that I sold back in 2002, missed the car so much. Anyway I am ready to order a new 2005 330 CIC ED and I want to lease. I read some of the post here and got some really good info, thxs to all. I still have a few questions though. Here it is

1. What is the 330 ED invoice price?

2. What is your experience with dealer discount on 330 CIC ED (how much over ED invoice)?

3. Is this true that the money factor will only be determined when the contract is signed (14 days before delivery). Can't you lock the rate when you place the order so you know exactly what your monthly charge are going to be?

Thanks again

On 1), look in the stickies here and the ask a dealer thread. The complete price sheets are there for you to calculate the invoice of the car you want. (note that invoice for options is the same on US and ED)

On 2) You should be able to get around $1500 over invoice if you ask around a few places. Check the thread on ED-friendly dealers. Some have done better; some are happy to settle for a bit worse. But I think most here would agree that you've done pretty well to get $1500 over, and the dealer is doing okay also.

Make sure you find out how long you can order the 2005 model...isn't the clock running out quickly on this model? Or, is it just the sedans that are ceasing production soon? Good luck, ED is a blast...I'll never forget it! Do a factory tour too!

BMW has a lot of trunk money on the e46 now, so my guess is that you could get one cheaper right off the lot than through ED.

Don't forget about BMWCCA rebate if you qualify. That can help sweeten the deal a bit for you....
