I just got my plates and was proceeding to install them on the rear of my 5. Took off the Euro plates, tried to put the US plates on and noticed that there aren't holes meant for US plates. Was I supposed to get a special bracket of some kind Guess I can install the front one for now |

Guess I can install the front one for now | Yes.
There is a plastic bracket the fits the two screws on the truck and has four holes with nuts for the US plate. My kit was in the truck with all the hardware etc.
Supplied screw were very short so they will not work with an frame or cover.

When the car was redelivered, there was no bracket to be found. I now seem to recall that there was such a bracket in the trunk while in Europe but come redelivery, it was gone. Anyways, the dealer has promptly corrected the issue.
One other item I noticed that was gone are my Toll stickers from Austria & Switzerland. I kinda wished they'd keep it on the windshield as a souvenir, oh well, I shoulda noted it to EH Harms when I dropped off if it really meant that much to me.

As VPC may take it off as a standard procedure. Years ago, I had stuck on the "D" sticker at a gas stop in Germany, and was surprised to see that VPC cleaned it off. I know it was VPC and not dealer due to the fact the dealer didn't do anything to the car.

I was told to take everything out of the car when dropping it. Thus I carried back my Triangle and First aid kit.

VPC seems good at taking stuff out/off but not placing stuff in...
my tow eye was missing at Munich delivery and on redelivery in the US the dealer had to steal one out of another car to replace mine.
