Does anyone know if you can use factory installed Sirius while in Europe?

Sirius (or XM, for that matter) does not have satelite coverage in Europe

But to activate your Sirius Radio, you must call their 1-800 number. I was too cheap to make a long distance international phone call from vaterland to activated so I wouldn't know

Satellites for sat radio or TV (DTV, Dish) are geosynchronous, meaning they sit in a fixed position relative to a spot on the planet. Meaning the services are only available within the 'spread' of the bird(s).
Um, I guess we should just let the real satellite engineers here answer this.
