 ED question !!!

When my ED car arrives to the local dealership in US, should I go pick it up? or someone else can do it for me? cuz I'm thinking about going somewhere while my car is on the way to US and might be little later to get back to US than my car arrives. In this case, can someone such as my brother go pick up my car instead of me? I know I don't wanna miss re-united moment at the dealership, but I gotta go visit somewhere and I figure it would be the best way doing so during delivery time + a week or so.
Is it possible? or purchaser must go and need to do more paper work to pick up delivered car?
Please help me!!! Thank you.

To pick your car in Munich, you personally needed to be there because of factory requirement (maybe customs paper work?). The dealership is another story. I don't remember signing any additional paper during re-delivery. Just tell ask your dealer; he probably won't have any issues, other than maybe something in writing to cover his behind.

Same for me too. No papers or anything once at the dealer.

Maybe the dealer could "hold" the car for you for a couple of days until you get back. Otherwise, prearrange with the dealer to have someone else pick up the car (dealer permitting).
