Sat-Sun ok for delivery? Or drop-off?
I am trying to plan for an ED trip and was wondering what the schedule is for the delivery center in Munich... Weekends OK?
And I was also wondering what the schedule is for the Harms drop-off locations. Weekends OK?

No. The delivery center and dropoff location is closed on weekends.

Delivery
Although we strive to make each delivery experience thorough and informational, there can be a waiting period on very busy days (Mondays, Fridays, and days preceding or following a German holiday). The second floor of the Delivery Center houses a café where you are welcome to enjoy a snack, breakfast, or lunch, compliments of BMW.
Delivery Center Hours and Holidays
Deliveries are made between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. The Delivery Center is closed on weekends, German holidays, and BMW scheduled holidays.

I did euro delivery on Dec 10.....waiting for my car to arrive here.....anyway,Dec 10 was a friday....the people at Harms(Munich) was really great and easy to work with...Upon taking delivery, I went straight to Harms and did my paper work....then, they let me keep car over the weekend and allowed me to drop off the car on Saturday...they are closed on Saturday but all you need to do is park it in their parking lot.....worked out fine.....They also arranged for a cab to meet me to take me to the airport....so, not officially a saturday drop off but if you do your paperwork with them when they are open, they will allow you to take car for the weekend and leave it in their parking lot for them when they re-open the following monday....

If you search around, you will find many people have been able to drop off on weekends. But make sure to make the arrangements in advance, so they'll know why that car is there. This is true at many of the drop-off points. Just do the legwork in advance, so you aren't pinched because of an airline ticket.

Quote: | No. The delivery center and dropoff location is closed on weekends. | I forgot that you can however prepare your paperwork in advance with the dropoff location (at least with EH Harms in Munich) and drop the vehicle off on a weekend. It's not possible to take delivery on a weekend though.
