ED Delivery and Nav DVDs
My dealer told me that BMW will supply the Europe Nav DVD disks once I get there. Has this happened to anyone ?
I was also wondering how much flexibility there is in the date that you get. Is the car ever done earlier ? Do they ever miss the date and is so by how much ?
Right now, I have a 3/7 delivery date in Munich. Can't wait.

BMW does not supply Europe Nav disks when you get there. When you get your ED confirmation package, it will include information on how to purchase a disk before your trip. It isn't cheap. Check out the sticky thread at the top of this forum for info on how you can borrow one.
Your car will typically be done a least 4 weeks before your pick up date but you can't just show up and pick it up anytime after it is done. There are a limited number of ED appointments per day and they will not give you your car on a different day. They also have to prepare the registration and insurance documents to start on a specific date and have them ready for you on your pickup date.
In typical German fashion, it is virtually unheard of for them to miss a deadline. Your car will be ready for you on 3/7.
