Hello everybody! I dropped off my car in Frankfurt on Jan 6, and I tracked it down on the website, and it looks like it's booked on a ship on Jan 17, 11 days after my drop off. My questions is: is it posible for the ship to leave earlier or they follow an exact schedule? It might be a stupid question but I had to ask  Thx |

Anything is possible but there is an extremely high probability that your car will leave as scheduled... this is Germany we are talking about. If there was space available on an earlier ship and they could get the car to the port in time, they would have booked the earlier ship.

In my case, the ship was a couple of days late in arriving to NY.

What I'm surprised is that the car stays in Germany 11 days, before it actually ships out. That's a long time.

The car came to NY last Friday.
It has cleared customs etc.
It has been scheduled to be loaded in the truck in New Jersey (status as of today)
Its just 6 hours drive from New Jersey to Richmond, VA
But I wont see the car till next tuesday.
How about that?
