Is it really 20 business days? How long do you typically have to wait once the ship arrives at the port. My car is arriving soon in NY and will be trucked up to MA. Looking for timeframes that people have experienced.

Looking for timeframes that people have experienced. | My 330 was 3 days from NY to Kansas City...so your's should be like overnight ONCE IT'S RELEASED. That's the kicker. It seems to depend on how big the backlog is at the VPC. This time of year it should be pretty quick.

Mine made it in 7 days from arriving at the port to the dealer. The 2 things that can take time are the backlog in customs and the time at the VPC (if they need to make some repairs or to install accessories that are mounted at the VPC for example).

It gets there and it gets released x days later. Who knows and who cares whether it's a customs hold-up or a VPC holdup.
Overall it seems to take 1-3 weeks for the whole process, sometimes less, sometimes more.

What accessories do they install? Alarm system? Cell phone? Or does the dealer do those?
