 Paying for ED vehicle?

Am interested in purchasing a 2006 330i or 325i via ED? Can the car be financed in the same way as if I were purchasing here in U.S. and what must be taken care of (in terms of payment and financing) before delivery in Germany? I have read that it is possible to find a price of perhaps $1,000 over ED invoice? What has been others' experience with ED pricing? (I realize that 2006 pricing for 3 series e90 is not published). Thanks for any assistance and info.

Don't bet on it.... This is a new car style kicking off w/ much fanfare, not your 6th yr production model car going into the final production year. The dealers will want to make their money on this new car.

Good luck,

beewang

Yes, you can finance or lease the car the same as a regular purchase; you just have to do the paperwork at least 14 days before your pickup date. However some lenders may refuse ( or give you a hard time) to finance a car that is not in the US, using BMW FS is often easier. Some people do their initial financing with BMW then refinance to get a better rate after re-delivery.

I financed my car via Capital One and the process was very smooth. If you are a Costco member, you may get even more rate discount with Cap One.

The car must be paid for 30 days prior to pickup.
