Munich Navigation
I am picking up my 325i, in Munich, on January 31st, 2005. My car will have BMW's Navigation, but I do not know if it is programed for that country. Does anyone know what I need to do (if anything) in order to use this feature in Germany?
Thanks in advance,
Wil~

Wil~ | I live in Germany. Heidelberg. You must buy a 2005 DVD for the GPS. It is about 200 dollars from the dealer. I had to do the same thing. Once you buy it, you just load it. It has every country in Europe on it. Congrats and good luck. Troy Merritt 2005 BMW M3 Silver Grey, PDC, Xenon, Prem Pack, Nav, Blue tooth, moon roof, etc

Thought considering the price, you might want to just spring for the paper map if you are only going to use it for a week or so.
That's what I did, and I only got lost in the one way streets of Verona in the early morning once!

Wil~ | You can go to www.ebay.de and buy an used Euro Nav DVD for $30 bucks... Assuming that this is an European Delivery pick up, why buy a new Euro DVD that you will only use for a couple of weeks. Of course, unless you are going to live in Germany after you pick up your car.
Quote: Another option: check the European Delivery forum, maybe somebody there have the Euro DVD and can lend/sell it to you for your trip. | Edit: http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/showthread.php?t=49194

The letter I got BMWNA specifically said that I needed to bring it with. The guy at the ED was relieved to see I brought my own DVD. Look around, you can find one used cheap.
