From what I read here, news are getting worse and worse for my planned ED. I am (was?) planning for ED at the end of June. I gather that the 3-wagon won't be available. Now I read that 325s (old or new models) won't be either. Is this right? Am I completely out of luck? Since I'm going to Europe for two months anyway, this is going to cost me $ 2,500 at least in car rental!! |

Model year 05 325i's will not be available for ED, because they would have stopped producing them months earlier. They would have already started production on the e90's 2006 325i's.
I am planning on doing a e90 330i ED in (very) late May.
Are you meaning e46's? If so, you cannot pick up an e46 325i, because they won't be making any more in June. They will be making e90 325i's. If you are talking strictly tourings, then you are correct, and wagons won't be available until some time later on in the production cycle.

Then I heard that the e46 sedan is no longer available either. It is hopeful to know that you can do ED for the 330 (e90) in May. Do you know for sure? Another poster (I forgot if in the 3 series, dealers, or this forum) wrote that e90 325 will NOT be available YET for ED in mid 2005. Just in case, I better start saving for the 330. Thanks

Quote: How about just buy a 5 series??!! | There is about 5,000 reasons for sticking to the 3 series. Beside the money, I cannot get used to the Bangle-ass. I kind of like the wagon. But then the reasons become even more.

I can call ED headquarters and see if they have any 3er wagons floating around sitting there for delivery? You never know until you ask...
