My dealer's telling me I have to pay in full 30 days before pick-up. I thought it was 15 days. Can anyone kindly clarify?? I placed the order a month ago and pick-up late February............thanks!!

But I don't know if that was just the dealer allowing me to do that, or standard policy.

I have always known it to be 30 days. But search and you'll find a thread where some people thought it was changed to 15. I felt these people were confusing payment with the reduction in insurance from 30 to 15.
Anyway, you can always call the ED folks for the sure answer. The number is somewhere on the board.

I just placed an order for a 545i ED and the the BMW order form states 30 days on the bottom, however, when I mentioned the 14 days he replied that I was correct it is now "14" days.

My dealer called me early this week to try to collect payment 30 days before pick-up for my Jan. 17th ED . After asking him to check on the new policy, he was able to confirm that it is now 14 days so I'll be going in to see him on Dec. 30th which will hopefully enable me to avoid making more than 1 payment before re-delivery.

Any way to get a copy of the ED change from 30 days to 14 - my sales rep is insisting on 30 days.....I'm paying cash and sure would like to be able to earn interest on the cash for those extra days. Thanks.
