just checked owners circle and said it is in production for completion oct 4. Anyone know how much longer to get to San Fran (thought I had heard about a month). Sure enough just as the rain starts in Cali I will be washing that blue a lot!

Interlagos blue, black interior but no extended leather, Premium package, Nav system, heated seats.
May also add some of the pedals I saw posted here (like the metal look).
Will add some kind of ipod connection when it arrives (heard DICE was best but their website says when you select the vehicle that it does not work with this car so may go with BMW ipod unit - also heard the 2007 may have added an ipod connector - something to research).

Sounds like you have my car's twin (except for the extended leather)! Alot of folks don't go for the Nav system, but I think it is a must as I use it all the way zoomed in when on unfamiliar twisty roads...it is great to know how sharp an upcoming bend is or if there is a dead end or major cross-street around the bend...now if it could only inform me of cops ahead

The wait will be worth it! Just don't go breaking your wrist requiring surgery wuth a plate, screws and a external fixation apparatus 2 days after taking delivery!

Ted | Visit the www.europeanautosource.com site for the DICE interface. They're a sponsor of this site and they do have a product for our cars - in fact I have one sitting on my dining room table next the the Valentine 1 that will get hard wired into my car. If they have added an iPod connector to this car, it is likely a simple auxilliary connection and not something that will integrate with the steering wheel controls or nav display.
What color trim, carbon leather, or aluminum?

Cliff, aluminum trim (forgot to mention that); wood did not seem to fit with the car and although I liked the carbon leather on an all black interior felt it needed a bit of pizazz...
Ollie, good luck with the injury. What a great pic; normally looks so good from behind but yours from the front is one of the nicest photos I have seen; Beautiful!
