M Coupe low speed pad knock

I've only managed to put a total of 170 kms on my Coupe but I have noticed quite a bit of pad knock....anyone notice the same? Seems to be on the passenger side front, any feedback would be appreciated.

Otherwise I love my new Coupe!

What's a pad knock

essentially a thunk or clunk caused by a shifting brake pad...usually a faulty pad clip or an illfitting after market pad causes pad knock.

Good lord, that sounds horrible.

not much of a problem when I've seen it. Recently Francois's z had a pad knock and antisqueal fixed it up fine. We reckoned the excessive rain last winter had washed out the pad grease.

Agreed witk Cookie...in my case the car is brand new...someone on another forum experoenced the same low speed knock and is replacing the pad retaining clip so I will give that a try. In no way foes this have any effect on braking prformance; it is merely an annoyance...thanks to all for reading.

Now if I can only figure out how to mitigate the seat belt sawing through my neck I'm good to go!
